Product Overview
Complete water pump impeller kit for Johnson and Evinrude 20 HP, 25 HP, 30 HP and 35 HP outboards. It rebuilds the pump, not just the rotor: the set contains the impeller, impeller plate, pump housing, water pump cup, plate gasket, grommet, four O-rings and six stainless steel bolts. It replaces kit 0393630 and the numbers 0390344, 0391636, 0393509 and 0777803, with Sierra 18-3382 as the cross reference. Dispatched from our Australia local warehouse.
Because the housing and the cup are included, this is the kit to buy when the pump has already failed rather than when it is simply due. A scored cup or a worn housing will bypass water no matter how good the new impeller is, and those are the two parts people leave out when they buy an impeller on its own.
Coverage runs 20 HP 1985-1996, 25 HP 1980 and 1985-1996, 30 HP 1984-1996, and 35 HP 1980-1984, 1986-1994 and 1996. Rebuild when the tell-tale weakens, the engine runs hot at low speed, or the impeller comes out with cracked, set or missing blades. Flush the water tube before reassembly, because a thrown vane will block it again on the first run.
