Fuel Pump 692-24410 for Yamaha Suzuki Tohatsu 25-85 HP 2 Stroke Outboard Motor — UK Local Warehouse
Fuel Pump 692-24410 for Yamaha Suzuki Tohatsu 25-85 HP 2 Stroke Outboard Motor — UK Local Warehouse
Product Overview
Replacement diaphragm fuel pump for Yamaha, Suzuki, Nissan and Tohatsu two-stroke outboards, 25 HP to 85 HP, supplied as one pump with its gasket and buckle at 9 x 10 x 15 cm and 220 g. It replaces Yamaha 692-24410, Suzuki 15100-94311 and Tohatsu 356-04000-1M, and covers Mallory 9-35300, 35300 and 9-35305, 35305 with Sierra 18-7334. Dispatched from our UK local warehouse.
The pump has no motor and no wiring: it is driven by crankcase pressure down a pulse line, which is why it fails in a particular way. The diaphragms harden long before anything breaks, so the motor holds idle and then leans out at three-quarter throttle, and the first suspicion usually falls on the carburettors.
Nine Yamaha numbers (692-24410-00 and -01, 663-24410-00, 6A0-24410-00 through -05), six Suzuki numbers (15100-94300 through 15100-94312) and the Nissan Tohatsu 356-04000-1M all resolve to this one body.

| E5 super unleaded | Slower ageing, still degrades | Preferred for older two-strokes |
| Fuel more than six months old | Gum forms in the pump body | Fresh fuel and a new filter |
| Motor used weekly through summer | Normal wear, several seasons | Change at the service interval |
| Tank not drained before lay-up | Water sits under the fuel | Drain, clean, fit a new pump |
