Power trim relay for Mercury and Mariner outboards from 25 to 250 HP, replacing 3854138, 882751A1, 882751A2, 828151 and 828151A1, plus Sierra 18-5849. The relay switches the trim motor current on these engines and fits models built from 1992 to 2012. A failing relay shows up as trim that clicks but does not move, trim that works in one direction only, or a relay that chatters when the button is held. Replace the relay when the contacts are burnt or the housing is cracked.
