Product Overview
Diesel air filter insert, a direct replacement part for Volvo Penta TAMD74 and TAMD75 marine diesel engines. It replaces Volvo Penta 3827167 and cross references 3838952, and comes in a 325 mm x 220 mm x 210 mm box at 1180 g with packaging.
This is the paper element that sits inside the air filter housing on the TAMD74 and TAMD75. It is the only barrier between the engine and the dust, salt and spray that comes off the water, and it is the cheapest thing on the engine to change.
The insert is a pleated paper element with a moulded end cap, so it drops into the existing housing with no adaptor. The housing and the lid are not part of this part number.
Fitment covers the TAMD74A, the A, C, L and P ratings in both A and B builds, and the TAMD75P-A. All ten codes are listed in the table below. Check the engine plate before ordering.
