Product Overview
Carburetor 3B2032001M for Tohatsu and Nissan 8 HP and 9.8 HP two stroke outboards, the complete two cylinder carburetor that replaces 3B2032001M, 3K9032000M and 3G0032000M. This is the International Series part, and the older style numbers 3B2032001, 3K9032000 and 3G0032000 are the same carburetor without the M suffix.
It fits the Nissan NS9.8B built in 2003 and earlier, and the Tohatsu M8B from 2002 to 2003. Both are two cylinder two strokes with the carburetor on the front of the block, and the same casting serves both motors with the jetting set at the factory.
Buying a complete carburetor rather than a rebuild kit makes sense once the throttle shaft is worn or the body has been eaten by salt. A kit cannot fix a shaft that lets air past the butterfly, and that air leak is what makes the motor idle high and run on after you close the throttle.
