Carburetor 69P-14301 61N-14301 for Yamaha 25 HP 30 HP 2-Stroke Outboard
Carburetor 69P-14301 61N-14301 for Yamaha 25 HP 30 HP 2-Stroke Outboard
Product Overview
Carburetor for the Yamaha 25 HP and 30 HP two stroke outboards, the fuel system part that bolts to the intake and meters fuel into the motor. It replaces Yamaha 61N-14301, 61T-14301, 69P-14301 and 69S-14301 across their suffix numbers, and one carburetor assembly ships in a 110 mm x 195 mm x 135 mm box at 608 g.
These are the small block two stroke twins: the 25 and 30 HP motors that Yamaha built through the 1990s. The same carburetor body is used across the 61N, 61T, 69P and 69S part number families, which is why one unit carries so many reference numbers.
The carburetor on a two stroke is a single barrel unit with the fuel pump driven off the crankcase pressure. When a motor starts needing choke after it is warm, four strokes at idle or dies when the throttle is snapped open, the fault is usually inside the carburetor rather than the ignition.
A clean will only get a carburetor so far. Once the throttle shaft has play in the bore or the needle does not seat, the motor will not hold a setting, and a replacement costs less than a rebuild that comes back a month later.
Fitment covers the Yamaha C30 models listed below from 1993 to 1997, plus the 25 HP motors in the same years. Check the model and serial number on the bracket before ordering, and check the suffix number on the old carburetor against the list.
