Carburetor Repair Kit 66M-W0093-01-00 for Yamaha 15 HP 4-Stroke F15 18-7738
Product Overview
Carburetor repair kit for the Yamaha 15 HP four stroke outboard, supplied as 1 x carburetor repair kit. It replaces Yamaha 66M-W0093-01-00 and 66M-W0093-00-00, it crosses to Sierra 18-7738, it covers the 15 HP F15 from 1998 to 2002, and one kit ships at 66 g with packaging.
This is the kit that goes into the carburetor when the engine will not idle cleanly, when the mixture has gone rich, or when the carburetor has been left with fuel in it over a lay up.
Ethanol fuel is the usual reason these kits get fitted. Fuel left standing in the bowl turns to varnish in the jets and around the needle valve, and cleaning gets a blocked idle jet part of the way back at best.
The years are the important part of the fitment. This kit covers the 1998 to 2002 15 HP four stroke in the table below, which is the model the 66M-W0093 numbers are listed against.
If the carburetor has been apart before and the screws are chewed, or the bowl face has been scraped, the kit is the cheaper way back than a new carburetor. The numbers are listed below so you can check the one on your engine before ordering.
