Product Overview
CDM ignition coil module for Mercury Marine outboards from 30 HP to 300 HP, and for Force 40 HP to 120 HP, supplied as 1 module with a 4-pin connector. It replaces Mercury 827509A10, 827509A1, 827509A3, 827509A4, 827509A7, 827509A8, 827509A9, 827509T4, 827509T7 and 114-7509, and crosses to AMW-3454. The capacitor discharge module is the coil and switch in one sealed block, and it is what fires the plug on these engines; when one fails the engine drops a cylinder, misfires under load, or will not start at all while the other cylinders still run. The connector is 4 pin and the body measures 3.5 x 1.4 inches, so it is easy to check against the module on the engine before ordering.
