Product Overview
Exhaust bellows boot part for MerCruiser sterndrives, 2-1/2 in (63.5 mm) inside diameter at each end and 5-1/4 in (133 mm) long, supplied with two stainless clamps. It replaces 18654A1, 18654B1, 32734, 32734A3 and 8M0124227, plus Sierra 18-2750, GLM 89100 and Mallory 9-72703. Dispatched from our Australia local warehouse.
This is the exhaust boot only. The drive bellows and the shift cable bellows are separate parts with separate numbers, so check which one has failed before ordering: the exhaust boot carries exhaust gas and cooling water out through the transom, while the drive boot keeps the lake out of the boat.
A split or hardened boot shows up as exhaust noise under the hatch, soot at the joint, water in the bilge or fumes in the cockpit. Replace it every time the drive comes off for service, since the clamps and the rubber are already disturbed by then.
