Product Overview
Exhaust hose, a cooling system part for Volvo Penta V6 and V8 sterndrive engines from 175 to 311 HP, supplied as 1 hose. It replaces 24069348 and 834751, plus Sierra 18-2766. The hose carries raw water and exhaust gas from the riser down through the transom shield, so it lives with heat, salt and vibration at the same time. Replace it when the wall has gone soft, when it bulges under load, or when exhaust soot and water are seeping past the clamps. A collapsed hose will overheat the engine and can fill the bilge through the exhaust port.
