Flexible Impeller Kit 22120-0001 for Jabsco Volvo Penta Northern Lights Pump
Flexible Impeller Kit 22120-0001 for Jabsco Volvo Penta Northern Lights Pump
Product Overview
Flexible impeller kit with gasket for Jabsco, Volvo Penta and Northern Lights pumps, ten blades, 57 mm diameter and 51 mm wide, replacing Jabsco 22120-0001, 18777-0001, 22120-0001-P and 18777-0001-P, Volvo Penta 834794, 876120 and 876120-7, and Northern Lights 25-11063.
The spline drive hub is brass, so the shaft splines engage positively rather than relying on a friction fit. The body is neoprene, which is the standard material for raw water duty and tolerates a dry start better than nitrile.
One impeller and one gasket are supplied. It also crosses to Sierra 18-3287, Mallory 9-45704, Ancor 50022, CEF 500104 and the US Marine and Alaska Marine numbers listed below, so a boat with mixed part sourcing can be serviced from one kit.

Before You Buy
- Check the pump body number, 22120, 18777 and 3860703 all take this impeller
- Check the old impeller comes out whole, missing blades have to be found in the pump or the cooler
- Check the cam and the wear plate for scoring while the cover is off, a worn cam shortens the new impeller's life
- Check the shaft splines for wear, a brass hub on a worn shaft will slip under load
- Grease the housing lightly and fold the blades in the direction of rotation as the impeller goes in
- Run on muffs or with the seacock open and confirm flow before the first trip, then check the cover for leaks
