12 blade flexible impeller for Volvo Penta TAMD73, TAMD74 and MD120 series engines, Jabsco 17935 pumps, Johnson 09-819B pumps, Detroit Diesel, Caterpillar D3304 and D3306 and Cummins V555 marine pumps, 95 mm diameter, 63 mm wide, 25 mm shaft, replacing 17935-0001, 09-819B and 18-3275.
This is the heavy duty 12 blade impeller for the large raw water pumps on diesel engines. Twelve blades move noticeably more water than the eight blade version, which is why it is used where the pump has to lift from a low intake or feed a big heat exchanger.
The 25 mm spline hub is the giveaway that this is the large body. Fit it dry and it will burn, fit it without the spline fully engaged and the hub will strip, so seat the impeller on the shaft before the cover goes down and fold the blades with the direction of rotation.

Before You Buy
- Check the number on the old impeller, 17935-0001, 09-819B and 18-3275 are the same body
- Check the shaft size, this is the 25 mm spline hub for the large pump body
- Check the pump housing and cam for deep scoring before fitting a new impeller
- Check the spline on the shaft for wear, the hub will not hold on a rounded spline
- Fit with glycerine or soap only, never grease or oil on neoprene
- Seat the hub fully on the spline, then fold the blades in the direction of rotation
- Prime the pump and confirm flow before loading the engine
