Product Overview
Water flush plug and gasket kit for Suzuki four stroke outboards from 8 HP to 350 HP, replacing 17913-93J00, 17914-93J00 and 17913-99E10. One plug and one gasket are supplied.
The plug screws into the flush port on the side of the leg so the motor can be run on a hose without muffs. It matters because running the motor dry on muffs on these big four strokes is unreliable, the water pressure is uneven and the impeller runs dry at idle.
It fits the whole modern Suzuki four stroke range from the DF8A portable through to the DF350A, including the DF200A and AP, the DF225 through DF300 and the DF350A. The same thread is used on all of them, so there is only one plug.

Before You Buy
- Check the flush port on your leg uses this thread, the earlier carburettor two strokes do not have the port at all
- Check the old gasket comes off, a double gasket will not seal and the port will drip
- Fit the plug by hand first so the thread does not cross, it is a soft alloy housing
- Run the hose at normal tap pressure only, mains pressure through a flush port can push past the impeller
- Keep the motor upright and idling while flushing, and watch the telltale the whole time
- Refit the original plug or this one tight afterwards, a flush port left loose is a fast way to fill the leg with water
