Product Overview
Accelerator pump repair kit for Mercury 80HP-125HP four-cylinder outboards built from 1988 to 2004, covering 80, 100, 115 and 125 HP models. Supplied as one kit. It replaces 1395-811287, 811287, 8M0138942 and 14687A4, the Quicksilver number for the same accelerator pump rebuild. The accelerator pump squirts a measured shot of fuel down the carburettor throat when the throttle opens, so a torn diaphragm shows up as a flat spot, a bog on acceleration, a rich idle that will not adjust, or raw fuel weeping from the pump cover. Rebuild the pump when any of those appear rather than chasing the idle mixture screws.
