Product Overview
Fuel line connector kit for Yamaha outboards, two connectors in the pack, one for the engine side and one for the tank side, sized 6 mm / 1/4 inch. It fits Yamaha 6 to 90 HP models listed below, comes in a 150 x 180 x 50 mm box at 71 g, and replaces 6Y1-24305 and 6G1-24305.
The two ends are not the same part. The engine end locks onto the cowling fitting, the tank end fits the primer bulb line, and a set that has both is what you need when the old connectors have gone brittle or the O rings inside them have hardened.
Quick connectors fail in one of two ways: they stop sealing and the motor starves at speed, or they leak and the smell of fuel fills the boat. Either way the fix is the same pair.
