Product Overview
Short shaft fuel pump 5033699 for Johnson, Evinrude and Suzuki four stroke outboards, the in-line electric pump that feeds the rail from the vapour tank. It fits the Johnson Evinrude 90HP, 115HP and 140HP motors and the Suzuki DF90 to DF140, replaces 5036797 and the 15100-90J range, and it measures 33.3 mm from the shaft top to the plastic base with a 68.4 mm total height.
Shaft length is the thing to check. This is the short shaft version and it will not fit a motor that takes the long shaft pump, so measure your old pump against the dimensions before ordering.
The pump runs whenever the key is on, so a failing one shows up as a long crank, a lean stumble at cruise, or a motor that will not hold pressure after it has been standing. A pump that is noisy but still delivering is on its way out.
