Flexible impeller kit for Sherwood 8000K and 08000K pumps on Onan and Kohler generator sets and Yanmar 4PC engines, 6 blades at 40 mm diameter, 19 mm wide, on a 12 mm shaft with a single flat drive. It replaces 08000K, Onan 132-0415 and Kohler 359978, and ships as one impeller plus one O-ring measuring 1.8 x 41.2 mm inside diameter. Dispatched from our United States local warehouse.

A genset impeller works harder than most people assume. The set runs at a fixed 1800 or 3600 rpm whenever it runs at all, the pump is usually tucked behind the sound shield where nobody looks, and the raw water it draws is often shallow, warm and full of sand. Vanes that would last three seasons on a main engine can be flat in one on a generator.

The kit includes the O-ring because the cover seal is the second thing to fail. On a Kohler or an Onan set the cover is a small plate with two or three screws, and the O-ring underneath goes hard long before the impeller does. Reusing it is how a fresh impeller still ends up sucking air.
