Product Overview
Hydraulic trim cylinder end cap 0320788 for Johnson and Evinrude outboards from 60HP to 300HP, the seal carrier that closes the trim cylinder and holds the piston rod seal. It is a direct replacement part for 0320788, 320788 and FSM065, and it ships in a 150 x 180 x 10 mm bag at 103 g.
The cap threads into the cylinder and carries the rod seal and wiper, so it is the part that leaks when trim fluid runs down the leg or the motor drops overnight. Replacing the cap and its seal restores pressure without changing the cylinder or the pump.
Buy the cap as well as the seal if the threads or the shoulder are corroded. A new seal in a pitted cap will not hold, and the cap is usually the cheaper half of the job.
