Product Overview

Inline fuel filter for Mercury four-stroke outboards from 30 HP to 60 HP, packed at 150 x 100 x 50 mm and weighing 103 g. It replaces Mercury 35-879884T and 879884T and crosses to Sierra 18-79965. The filter sits in the fuel line between the primer bulb and the engine, catching water and grit before they reach the fuel pump and the injectors. Dispatched from our Australia local warehouse.

These 30 to 60 HP four-strokes are the most common engine on an Australian runabout, and most of them are fed from a portable tank that sits in the sun. Once the element loads up, the engine leans out under load, idles rough and loses top end, and on EFI models the debris that gets past it is what blocks an injector.

It is a service item, not a part you wait to fail. Change it with the engine oil and the fuel system stays clean for the price of a couple of litres of fuel.
