Outboard maintenance kit for the Suzuki DF40A, DF50A and DF60A four stroke outboards from 2010 onward. It is the Suzuki 17400-88812 service kit, and the impeller inside the water pump kit measures 67.73 mm outer diameter by 17 mm inner diameter and 16.1 mm wide.
The kit covers the three jobs that come due together on these engines: the water pump, the fuel side and the oil side. It also carries the three anodes that sit on the block and the gear case, which are the parts that quietly stop protecting an engine once they are half gone.
Suzuki sells this as a scheduled service kit rather than a repair part. The water pump kit inside it is 17400-88L01, and the impeller in that kit is the six blade 17461-96300 family. If the old star carries 17461-96301 or 17461-96302, it is the same impeller.
Fitment covers the DF40A at 40 HP, the DF50A at 50 HP and the DF60A at 60 HP, all from 2010 onward. Check the model and serial number on the bracket plate before ordering, because the earlier DF40 and DF50 carburettor engines take a different kit.
