Product Overview
90 Amp starter fuse assembly for Mercury MerCruiser inboard and sterndrive engines, supplied as 1 x complete fuse assembly with its mounting base. It is the replacement part behind MerCruiser 88-79023A91, 79023A91 and 8M0207795, and crosses to Sierra 18-8220 and Mallory 9-15510. The fuse bolts to the starter terminal and protects the main battery cable run; when it blows, the engine will not crank at all but everything else on the boat still works, which is why it is worth carrying one. It is also used on the Verado power steering motor, where the same 90 Amp fuse feeds the pump.
