Product Overview
Power trim hose for MerCruiser and Mercury sterndrives on 2.5 L, 3.0 L, 4.3 L, 5.0 L, 5.7 L, 7.4 L and 8.2 L engines, the line that runs from the trim pump to the connector on the gimbal housing. It replaces 32-861128, 32-95859 and 63048, crosses to Sierra 18-2436 and Mallory 9-71512, and is supplied as one hose in the original grey.
This is the pre quick connect hose for R, MR, Alpha One, Alpha Gen II and Bravo I, II and III drives, including Bravo X, XR and XZ, on serial numbers 0W099999 and below. Later drives use a quick connect fitting at the pump and take a different hose.
Trim hoses fail from the inside out. A hose that weeps at the crimp, bulges under pressure or lets the drive creep down overnight is drawing air or losing fluid, and a pump run low will eventually fail as well. Change both hoses on the ram when one of them goes.
