Thermostat kit for Johnson and Evinrude outboards from 55 HP to 75 HP, rated 143°F (62°C) and supplied as 1 x thermostat with cover gasket and gasket. It replaces Johnson Evinrude 396987, 382385 and 778261, plus Sierra 18-3669 and GLM 13450. The thermostat holds the engine at its design temperature; a stuck-open one makes the motor run cold and sooty, while a stuck-closed one overheats it within minutes.
