Product Overview
Transom bellows repair and reseal kit, a direct replacement part for MerCruiser Bravo One, Bravo Two and Bravo Three sterndrives and the Blackhawk, 7 pieces in one 305 mm x 195 mm (12.01 in x 7.68 in) box. It replaces MerCruiser 30-803100T1 and 8M0095485 and crosses to Sierra 18-8219, Sierra 18-8212-1 and GLM 21965. The kit carries the shift cable bellows, two exhaust bellows, the U-joint bellows, a gimbal bearing, the water intake hose and a gasket set, and weighs 2291 g.
This is the kit you buy when the drive is coming off for a transom service. The bellows are the rubber boots between the transom shield and the gimbal housing, and once the drive is off, changing all of them at the same time costs nothing extra in labour.
Doing the U-joint bellows alone and leaving the shift cable bellows is a false economy. The shift cable boot fails at about the same age, and it lets water into the same place at the back of the engine.
The kit is for MerCruiser drives made by Mercury Marine. It does not fit Alpha One, Alpha One Gen II or TRS drives, which use a different set of bellows.
