Product Overview
Trim tab anode for Mercury, Mariner, Force and MerCruiser drives, the flat aluminum plate that sits in the anti-ventilation plate cavity and takes the corrosion instead of the gearcase. It replaces 76214A5, 76214Q5, 97-76214T5 and 8M0059339, and it is one anode in a 15 x 10 x 3 cm pack.
It fits Mercury and Mariner outboards from 35 HP to 300 HP, Force 90 and 100 HP motors from 1995 onward, and the MerCruiser Alpha One, Alpha One Gen II from 1991, TR, TRS and the whole Bravo range from Bravo I to Bravo XZ. The flat profile also gives extra clearance for high rake propellers.
Anode, not decoration: the plate is 0.62 kg of aluminum alloy and it is meant to be consumed. In salt water a trim tab anode is a one season part, and using one until it is half gone means the gearcase starts to go instead.
