Product Overview
Voltage regulator rectifier part for Mercury and Mariner outboards from 30 HP to 200 HP. It replaces Mercury 883072T, 854515, 854515T1, 856748, 8M0084173, 815279-3, 815279-5, 815279T, 8301792 and 830179T, plus Sierra 18-5743, CDI 194-5279 and Mallory 9-17101. The regulator turns stator output into regulated DC to charge the battery; a failed one shows up as a battery that will not hold charge, a tachometer that reads erratically, or a melted connector at the regulator.
