Flexible impeller kit for Jabsco 920-0001 pumps, Johnson 09-1028B pumps, Sherwood 18200 pumps and the Volvo Penta and Yanmar raw water pumps listed below, 8 blades, 65 mm diameter, 50 mm wide, 15.8 mm spline drive shaft, supplied with a gasket and an O-ring, replacing 920-0001, 09-1028B and 18-3077.
This is the 65 mm by 50 mm eight blade impeller, the wide body version used on the large raw water pumps of the Volvo Penta D4 and D5 diesels, the Yanmar 4LH and 4LHA range and the Sherwood 18200 pump. The kit ships complete with the cover gasket and the O-ring, because both are disturbed every time the pump is opened.
The spline hub has to sit square on the shaft before the cover goes down. Half engaged, the impeller runs off-centre, the blades wear on one side and the hub strips within hours. Prime the pump and watch the outlet before the engine sees load, and check the cover and cam plate for scoring while the pump is open.

Before You Buy
- Check the number on the old impeller, 920-0001, 09-1028B and 18200 are the same 65 mm body
- Check the width, this is the 50 mm wide version, the narrow 38 mm body will not pump
- Check the shaft, this is the 15.8 mm spline drive, not the pin or key drive
- Check the pump housing, cover and cam plate for scoring before fitting
- Fit with glycerine or soap only, never grease or oil on neoprene
- Seat the spline fully on the shaft, then fold the blades in the direction of rotation
- Prime the pump and confirm flow at the outlet before loading the engine
