Water pump impeller, a bare cooling system part for Tohatsu and Nissan 25 HP to 40 HP outboards and for the Mercury Mariner 25 HP and 30 HP four-strokes, 44.25 mm outside diameter, 17.20 mm inside diameter, 20.25 mm deep, 6 blades in neoprene, supplied as 1 impeller. It replaces 345-65021-0, 3R0-65021-0 and 47-161541, and crosses to Sierra 18-8923. Held in our Australia local warehouse.
This is the impeller on its own, not the full kit, so it suits a pump whose housing and wear plate are still clean and whose rubber has simply taken a set. Check the cup for scoring first: a grooved cup will wear a new impeller out in a season, and that is when the kit is the cheaper answer.
The 25 to 40 HP Tohatsu block is the same one Mercury and Mariner sell as their 25HP and 30HP EFI four-stroke, which is why one impeller carries two number families. The 345-65021-0 number and the 47-161541 number describe the same part. Some catalogues print it without the dashes as 345650210.
