Water pump impeller for small two-stroke outboards, 6 blades, 42.94 mm outside diameter, 11.85 mm inside diameter and 14.34 mm deep. It replaces Tohatsu 309-65021-2, 309-65021-1, 309-65021-0 and 309-65021-1M, written 309650210 and 309650211 on some listings, plus Mercury 47-95289 and 47-952892, Johnson Evinrude 114812, and it fits Sierra 18-45312 and Mallory 9-45312. One impeller covers Nissan, Tohatsu, Mercury, Mariner, Johnson and Evinrude two-strokes from 2 HP to 3.5 HP. These are the small carry-on and tender motors, and the pump on them is tiny: it sits above the gearcase behind a plastic grille and moves the whole cooling flow for the engine.
Sand and weed get through that grille constantly on a dinghy that is dragged up a beach, and the impeller is expected to wear. The symptom is a tell-tale that dribbles instead of spraying, and the engine getting hot at idle when it was fine at speed.
