Product Overview
Water pump impeller kit for the Suzuki DF70A, DF80A and DF90A four stroke outboards from 2009 onward. It replaces Suzuki 17400-87L00 through 17400-87L04 and crosses to Mercury 8M6012808, GLM 15340 and EMP 46-46428, and it ships as one complete kit in a 150 mm x 120 mm x 50 mm box at 258 g.
The kit is the full upper pump group for a 70 HP to 90 HP Suzuki four stroke: the impeller, the stainless case plate, the sleeve, the seal and the gasket. That is the set that goes back in when the leg comes off for a water pump service, rather than the impeller on its own.
The impeller is 17461-87E12, which also crosses to Sierra 18-3049, GLM 89380 and EMP 47-09212, the case plate crosses to GLM 12574 and the sleeve to GLM 16730. If a previous service fitted an impeller only and left the old plate and sleeve in place, the new impeller will wear against a scored plate and lose flow again within a season.
Fitment covers the Suzuki DF70A, DF80A and DF90A four strokes from 2009 and newer. These three models share the same pump housing, so the same kit covers all of them regardless of which horsepower badge is on the cowling.
