Product Overview
Water pump impeller kit, a direct replacement part for Yamaha 115 HP and 130 HP two stroke outboards, 10 part numbers and 17 pieces in a 160 mm x 120 mm x 90 mm box at 640 g. It replaces Yamaha 6E5-W0078, 6E5-W0078-01, 6E5-W0078-1A, 6E5-W0078-3A and 6E5-W0078-A1, and crosses to Sierra 18-3372 and 18-3373. The kit covers the impeller, insert cup, wear plate, water pump gasket, two O-rings, the impeller key, four bolts, four washers and two dowel pins.
The kit is the impeller side of the pump, not the full housing. It is the right choice when the housing is still sound and only the rubber and the wearing surfaces need renewing.
It fits the 115 HP motors built under the 6N6 and 6E5 model codes from 1984 to 1994, and the C115 from 1991 to 1992. On the 130 HP side it covers the 6L1 and 6N7 from 1988 to 1992 and the L130 built under 6L6 and 6N4 from 1989 to 1992.
Run the motor on muffs before you launch. A pump that has gone together with the blades folded the wrong way will still show a telltale but will not cool the motor under load.
