Product Overview
Water pump repair kit for Suzuki DT9.9, DT15, DT15C, DF9.9 and DF15 outboards and Johnson Evinrude 9.9 HP and 15 HP four stroke, supplied as 1 x impeller, 1 x plate, 1 x gasket and 1 x key, replacing 17400-93951 and 5033106.
This is the complete four part service kit for the small Suzuki gearcase and for the Johnson Evinrude four stroke built on the same pump. Impeller, stainless plate, gasket and drive key all in one pack, which is what you want because the plate under an old impeller is normally grooved and the key is normally half worn.
Suzuki sells the kit as 17400-93951 and the same four pieces individually as 17461-93901 impeller, 17471-93902 plate and the matching gasket and key. The Johnson Evinrude side of the range uses the 5033106 family. Check which badge and which year the motor carries, both are covered here.

Before You Buy
- Check the number on the old impeller and on the pump plate, 17400-93951 and 5033106 are both covered here
- Check the model letter, the DF9.9A and DF15A four strokes are not covered
- Check the driveshaft keyway, a worn slot will not hold a new key
- Check the housing liner for grooves before fitting the new plate and impeller
- Fit with glycerine or soap only, never grease or oil on neoprene
- Fit the plate the right way up and fold the blades in the direction of rotation
- Change the gear oil at the same time and check the drain plug washers
- Run on muffs and confirm the telltale stream before leaving the ramp
