Complete water pump kit with housing for Yamaha 50 HP, 60 HP and 70 HP outboards, replacing 6H3-W0078-A0-00, 6H3-W0078-00-00 and the housing 6H3-44311-00-00, and crossing to Sierra 18-3461. The kit contains a housing, impeller, wear plate, three gaskets, an O-ring, a drive key and the bolts and washers.
The impeller is 51.8 mm outside diameter, 18 mm bore and 19 mm deep with 6 neoprene blades on a key drive shaft. Supplying the housing as well as the impeller matters on these motors: the stainless liner in the housing scores when an impeller lets go, and a new impeller in a scored housing loses flow from the first run.
It fits the 1996 F50TL and T50TL, the 1991 P60TL, and the 70ET and 70TL from 1984 to 1991. Those are the three cylinder motors with the small pump, which is why the kit is sold as a set rather than as loose parts.

Before You Buy
- Check the model plate against F50TL, T50TL, P60TL, 70ET or 70TL, other 70 HP motors use a different kit
- Check the driveshaft splines and the key slot while the housing is off, a worn slot spins the impeller
- Check the water tube grommet at the top of the housing, a perished grommet loses pressure after the kit is fitted
- Fit the impeller blades bent in the direction of rotation and coat the housing bore with grease
- Do not run the motor dry, even briefly, while checking the job
- Check the telltale stream at idle after the first start and recheck after the first hour on the water
