Water pump kit with impeller, a direct replacement part for Yamaha 4 stroke 6 HP, 8 HP and 9.9 HP outboards. It replaces Yamaha 68T-44352-00 and crosses to Sierra 18-8910. The impeller measures 52.83 mm outside diameter with 6 blades, and the kit weighs 27 g with its packaging.
This is the service kit for the water pump on the small Yamaha four strokes. It carries the impeller, the drive key and the O ring, which is everything that wears or gets lost when the pump comes apart.
The impeller is neoprene rubber and runs on a key drive shaft. Neoprene is the right grade for these motors because it keeps its shape through the winter lay up better than the harder compounds used on bigger engines.
The 6 HP models run from 2001 to 2008, the 8 HP models run from 2001 to 2022 and the 9.9 HP models run from 2007 onwards. Check the model code on your cowling against the table before ordering.
