Product Overview
Flexible impeller kit for pumps built on the small pin drive body, 40 mm outside diameter, 19 mm wide, 12 mm shaft, 6 neoprene blades with a brass insert, supplied with a gasket and an O-ring in a 15 x 10 x 3 cm pack. It replaces Jabsco 22405-0001, Johnson 09-808B, Volvo Penta 875583, Westerbeke 32620, Onan 132-0310 and Fischer Panda J009-46840. Shipped from our Germany local warehouse.
Most of these kits in Germany go into genset and auxiliary diesel pumps rather than outboards: Fischer Panda and Onan sets on motor cruisers, Bukh and BMW diesels in inland boats, Westerbeke pulley drive pumps. On a long river passage the generator often runs for hours unattended, which is why the cooling impeller is worth carrying as a spare.
The drive is a pin in the shaft, not a key or a spline. The pin and its slot in the hub wear together, so a new impeller on a worn pin will slip and stop moving water even though the blades look perfect.
