Product Overview
Flexible water pump impeller kit for Sherwood, Westerbeke, Onan and Chris Craft raw water pumps, 57 mm diameter and 20 mm wide on a 12.7 mm shaft, replacing Sherwood 10077K, Westerbeke 33100, Onan 132-0375 and Sierra 23-2000. The kit is one impeller with an O-ring and three gaskets.
The impeller is 6 blade neoprene with a brass insert and a key drive, which is the standard pump body used on Westerbeke and Onan generator and engine cooling systems and on the Chris Craft 283 and 430 raw water pumps. The 12.7 mm shaft is half an inch, so the same impeller also fits older US built pumps with imperial shafts.
Brass insert rather than plastic matters here: these pumps run hot and sit idle for months between trips, and a plastic insert cracks and the impeller spins on the shaft. The kit includes the gaskets and the O-ring because the pump has to come apart to change the impeller anyway.

Before You Buy
- Measure the old impeller: 57 mm across, 20 mm wide, 12.7 mm shaft. If any figure differs, this is not the kit
- Match the pump body against 10077K or 16.80-10003 before ordering
- Check the cam and the cover plate for scoring while the pump is apart, a worn cam cuts flow even with a new impeller
- Check the shaft for a worn key slot, a loose key lets the impeller slip and the engine overheats
- Grease the housing bore and fit the blades bent in the direction of rotation
- Run the engine and check the pump body and cover for leaks before leaving, then watch the temperature on the first trip
