Product Overview
Water flush plug and seal for Suzuki four-stroke outboards from 25-140 HP, covering the DF range in the 25, 30, 60-100 and 115 to 140 HP bands. It replaces Suzuki 17913-99E12, 17913-99E11 and 17913-99E10. The plug screws into the flush port on the engine pan and lets the cooling system be rinsed with a hose while the engine is off and the boat is on the trailer.
Flushing after every saltwater run is the single cheapest thing that can be done for a four-stroke, and the plug is the part that makes it possible without running the engine on muffs. The seal in the kit is what keeps the port watertight between flushes; a hardened or missing seal lets water into the pan and looks like a leaking gasket.

Before You Buy
- Check the model and serial number, the year ranges above are a guide and Suzuki changed the pan casting inside these horsepower bands
- Two-stroke Suzuki outboards do not use this flush port, this plug is for the DF four-strokes
- Clean the threads before fitting the new plug, salt scale on the old thread will damage the new seal
- Fit the seal dry and hand tight, then a quarter turn with a wrench, the port is plastic on some models
- Flush with the engine off, then check for a weep at the plug before the boat goes back in the water
