Complete water pump kit for the Mercury and Mariner V6 outboards from 75-225 HP and for the Mercruiser Alpha and MC1 sterndrives, supplied as 1 housing, 1 impeller, 1 wear plate, 1 water tube guide, 3 base gaskets, 2 wear plate gaskets, 6 O-rings, 2 drain screw washers, 1 oil passage seal, 1 water tube grommet and 1 mounting key, net weight 380 g. It replaces Mercury 46-96148A8, 46-96148Q8, 46-96148A5 and 46-96148T8, with Sierra 18-3517, 18-3319, 18-3314 and 18-3316, GLM 12280 and Mallory 9-48311 as the aftermarket equivalents. Shipped from our Germany local warehouse.
The pump body is shared between the outboard and the sterndrive, so the kit covers both: the same housing, wear plate and impeller serve a 90 HP outboard and an Alpha one drive. What changes is how you get to it.
On the outboard the lower unit comes off. On the sterndrive the pump sits behind the gear housing and the job also touches the oil system, which is why a complete set of gaskets and seals matters far more on that side.
