Trim Pump Bracket 42419A1 862548A1 PH200-T066 for Mercruiser Bravo Alpha One Gen 2 Stainless Steel — United Kingdom Local Warehouse
Product Overview
Floor mount trim pump bracket for MerCruiser and Mercury sterndrives, fitting Bravo X, XZ and XR, Bravo One, Two and Three, Alpha One Gen 2 from 1991 onwards, and the 8.2 L 502 CID V8. It replaces 42419A1, 58397A2, 58397A3, 862548A1, 88553A1 and 88893A4, and crosses to Sierra 18-6749, 18-6750 and PH200-T066. Dispatched from our United Kingdom local warehouse.
The bracket is the part that keeps the trim pump off the floor of the engine bay, and on a sterndrive boat it lives in the wettest corner of the boat. A mild steel bracket that has been sitting in bilge water for years will still hold the pump, but the bolts seize and the mounting holes rot out at the corners, which is usually noticed when the pump starts moving under trim load rather than when the bracket fails outright.
This listing covers the bracket itself. Two build types were used across the range: the heavy duty stainless version with four bolts, and a powder coated steel floor mount. Check which one is on the boat before ordering, because the hole pattern is the same but the finish decides how long the next one lasts.

Signs the Bracket Needs Replacing
| Symptom | What It Points To |
|---|---|
| Trim pump moves under load | Bracket cracked or bolts pulled through |
| Rust streaks down the bracket | Plating gone, steel is thinning |
| Bolts will not undo | Seized in a rotten bracket, cut and replace |
| Pump sits at an angle | Bracket bent by a strike or a heavy pump |
| Water pooling around the base | Drain blocked, bracket will rot next |
