Product Overview
Water pump impeller kit with housing for Mercury 4, 4.5, 6, 7.5 and 9.8 HP outboards, supplied as one service kit. It replaces 46-70941A3, 70941A3 and Sierra 18-3446. The kit contains the impeller, face plate, drive key, base and housing, and three O-rings, so the pump is renewed as a unit rather than just re-rubbered. The impeller insert measures 11.6 mm, which is the quickest way to tell this kit from the larger Mercury pumps. Fit it when the tell-tale is weak, the engine gets warm at trolling speed, or the housing shows scoring after a season in sand and silt.
