Thermostat kit for Volvo Penta marine engines from 110 to 167 HP, with a 180 °F (82 °C) opening temperature. It replaces 875580, plus Sierra 18-3666 and Mallory 9-43010, and the kit includes the thermostat and seal ring. Fitment covers 110 HP 1977-1980, 117 HP 1983-1985, 120 HP 1985-1993, 125 HP 1975-1979, 138 HP 1979-1985, 146 HP 1985-1993 and 167 HP models. A thermostat stuck open keeps the engine cold and rich, while one stuck closed causes rapid overheating. Replace the kit when the engine runs outside its normal temperature range.
