Product Overview
Bellows kit, a complete transom seal part for Volvo Penta SP and DP sterndrives from the 200 series through the 740 and the AD, AQ, MS, TMD and TAMD engines. It replaces the U-joint bellows 876294 and 875826, the exhaust bellows 875848 and 876631, and the water hose 876632, 875847 and 854555, and crosses to Sierra 18-2758, 18-2744 and 18-2774.
The kit has the three rubber parts and 6 stainless clamps: one U-joint bellows, one exhaust bellows and one water hose. Everything is supplied with the clamps matched to each end, which matters because the three parts use four different clamp sizes.
These are the parts that keep water out of the transom and out of the drive. A U-joint bellows that splits lets water into the bellows and rusts the gimbal bearing and the U-joint, and by the time the steering feels stiff the bearing and the joint are both scrap. Inspect the bellows every season, and replace all three together, because they age at the same rate.

Before You Buy
- Check the drive model plate against the fitment lists, the 200 series and the 430-740 use the same three rubber parts but different clamp sets
- Fit all three bellows at the same time, they age together and a new U-joint bellows next to a perished exhaust bellows is a false economy
- Check the gimbal bearing and the U-joint while the bellows is off, water in the bellows is the usual reason to find them worn
- Grease the U-joint and the driveshaft splines before the new bellows goes on
- Seat the bellows lip fully in the groove on the transom shield, a lip that is half in will leak on the first launch
- Check for water in the bellows again after the first run, early enough to save the bearing
