Product Overview
Red pre-cut vinyl decal kit for the top cowl of Mercury 25 HP outboards built from 1999 to 2006, six decals covering front, rear, port and starboard, replacing 808499A00 and fitting cowls 9163T19 and 9163T21.
The kit is cut as a set, so the M logo, the two 25 numbers, the rear lettering and the two side decals all come from the same print run and match each other. Buying decals one at a time is what gets a cowl with two slightly different reds on it.
Vinyl with a gloss clear laminate over the top, which is the layer that keeps the colour from fading in the sun and keeps fuel spills from lifting the edges. The decals are pre-cut, so there is no trimming, and they go on with the cowl off and clean, using a squeegee from the centre out.

Before You Buy
- Check the cowl number, 9163T19 and 9163T21 are the two covers this set fits
- Check the year, this is the 1999 to 2006 25 HP shape, not the earlier flat cowl
- Clean the cowl with alcohol and let it dry fully before laying any decal down
- Lay the decals dry first to check the position before removing the backing
- Work from the centre out with a squeegee, and keep the cowl out of the sun for a day afterwards
