Product Overview
Carburetor for Yamaha 4-stroke outboards, a direct replacement part for Yamaha 6BX-14301-00, 6BX-14301-10-00, 6BX-14301-11-00 and 6BX-14301-12-00. It fits the 6 HP F6LMHA and F6SMHA models built from 2006 onward, including the _031 and _071 variants. A carburetor that has sat with fuel in it varnishes over inside the float bowl and the idle circuit; the usual signs are a motor that will not idle below 6 HP cruise, surges at low speed, floods when tilted, or starts only with the choke held out. Replacing the carburetor restores a clean, adjustable fuel curve without a rebuild.
