It replaces Johnson Evinrude 582285, 582281, 582502, 582787, 582880, 583167, 583168, 583169, 583170, 583604, 586697, 586800, 396141, 0777652, 0583167 and 0583169, 0582285, 584708, 584908 and 586798, plus Sierra 18-5763 and 18-5765, CDI 113-2285 and Mallory 9-25009. The power pack triggers the coils; a failed one shows up as no spark, a motor that runs on some cylinders, or an engine that dies once warm.
