Product Overview
Flexible impeller kit for the raw water pumps on Jabsco, Johnson, Volvo Penta, Yanmar, Sherwood, Onan and Perkins engines, 6 blades at 40 mm diameter, 19 mm wide, with a 9.5 mm shaft bore. It replaces Jabsco 4528-0001 and 4528-0003, Johnson 09-806B, Volvo Penta 803729 and 875807, and Yanmar 104211-42070. Kept in our Germany local warehouse.
One star shaped neoprene impeller covers a long list of engines because the pump makers all started from the same Jabsco pattern. It is 40 mm across, 19 mm wide and sits on a 9.5 mm slotted shaft, driven by a pin rather than a key. That last detail matters: a splined or keyed impeller will look identical in a photograph and will not turn on this pump.
The kit ships with the impeller, one O-ring and two gaskets, which is the minimum for a job done properly. Reusing an old gasket on a raw water pump is the usual cause of an air leak that shows up as the engine running warm at cruising speed and fine at idle.
