Flexible water pump impeller kit for Johnson F5, F6 and F6B-9 raw water pumps and Northern Lights 30 kW Alaska Diesel L6414A generator sets, 57 mm diameter, 48.4 mm wide, 15.8 mm spline shaft, 12 blades in neoprene with a brass insert, supplied with two O-rings and one gasket, replacing Johnson 09-812B, 09-812B-1 and Northern Lights 25-11031. This is the wide body spline drive impeller used across the Johnson F5 and F6 pump family and on the Northern Lights and Indmar pumps that take the same rotor. The 48.4 mm width is what separates it from the narrow 31.5 mm and 40 mm impellers that share the 57 mm diameter, so measuring the old part side on is worth the two minutes.
The kit carries two O-rings because the F6B-9 pump body uses a pair, and one gasket for the cover joint. The spline has to sit square on the shaft and the cam and cover plate have to be clean, otherwise the new rubber will be chewed at the tips within a season. Coolant side hoses and the pump base should be checked while the cover is off.

- Check the number on the old impeller, 09-812B and 25-11031 are the same 57 mm rotor
- Check the width, this is the 48.4 mm wide body, not the 31.5 mm or 40 mm impeller
- Check the spline on the shaft for wear, a rounded spline will strip the new hub
- Check the pump cam and cover plate for scoring before refitting
- Fit with glycerine or soap only, never grease or oil on neoprene
- Seat the spline, fold the blades with rotation, then both O-rings and the gasket
- Prime the pump and confirm flow before loading the engine
