Water pump impeller kit part for MerCruiser Alpha One Gen 2 drives and Mercury Mariner BigFoot outboards from 40 HP to 250 HP. It replaces 47-43026Q06 and the later 47-8M0100526, and crosses to Sierra 18-3265. The kit contents are as shown in the photographs. Dispatched from our Australia local warehouse.
Alpha One Gen 2 drives and the BigFoot gearcase share this pump family, which is why one kit covers sterndrives and outboards from 40 HP right up to the V200, 225 and 250 HP three litre blocks. The impeller is the same part; the difference between the kits is in which gaskets and seals come with it.
Signs the pump needs attention are the usual ones: temperature creeping up at cruise, a tell tale that has gone weak, or water in the gear oil after a season. Check the stainless pump housing liner for grooves while the unit is apart, because a scored liner takes the edges off a new impeller within a few hours of running.
