IAC Valve 18137-93J01 Suzuki Outboard DF150 DF175 DF200 DF200A Idle Control
IAC Valve 18137-93J01 Suzuki Outboard DF150 DF175 DF200 DF200A Idle Control
Product Overview
Idle air control valve for Suzuki four stroke outboards, the 150 HP DF150, the 175 HP DF175 and the 200 HP DF200 and DF200A. This replacement part replaces Suzuki 18137-93J01, 18137-93J00, 18137-93J00-000 and 1813793J01000, and ships as one valve in a 150 mm x 100 mm x 50 mm box at 159 g.
The valve bolts to the intake manifold beside the throttle body. It bleeds a controlled amount of air past the throttle plate so the ECU can hold idle, and it opens a little further when the motor is cold or when the load comes on at idle in gear.
When the valve sticks the symptom is usually the opposite of what owners expect: the motor idles too high, or it stalls when it is put into gear, or the idle hunts up and down a few hundred RPM at the dock.
Fitment is listed by model and VIN range: DF150 from 15002Z-710001, 15002F-710001, 15002F-810001 and 15002Z-310001, DF175 from 17502Z-710001, 17502F-310001 and 17502F-810001, and DF200 and DF200A from the 20003F and 20003Z series. The DF225 and DF250 share the intake manifold assembly in the Suzuki catalogue, but confirm the VIN range before ordering those.
