Flexible impeller kit for Yanmar 1GM and 1GM10 marine diesel engines with the three-bolt pump cover. The impeller measures 32 mm across and 12 mm wide on an 8 mm shaft with a single flat D drive and six blades, packed at 12 x 10 x 4 cm and weighing 63 g. It replaces Yanmar 128176-42070 and 128176-42071, sometimes written 128170-42070, plus Sierra 18-8951, Jabsco 1411-0001 and CEF equivalents. Shipped from our Germany local warehouse.
The kit is not the rubber on its own: it also carries the end cover gasket 128170-42090 and the O-ring 24321-000350. That matters because the gasket is what fails first after a cold winter, and a kit fitted without it usually leaks at the cover within a few hours of running.
Every 1GM that has sat on a Baltic mooring from October to April starts the season with an impeller that has been parked in one position for six months. The vanes take a set, and by the first warm run at cruising speed the engine temperature tells you before the exhaust note does.
